PURPOSE: An apparatus for removing the backlash of a moving table for a machine tool is provided to improve feed precision by removing the backlash of the moving table. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for removing the backlash of a moving table is composed of a first base plate(10), a second base plate(20) on which a workpiece is placed, a locking unit(40), a feed screw(30), a plurality of support members(62,64), and a spring(50). The locking unit includes a mounting member(46) fixed to the second base plate, and a plurality of locking pins(42,44) mounted to the bottom of the mounting member. The feed screw is supported by support units(80,82), and is connected to a driving unit(70). The support members are interposed between the locking unit and the feed screw. The spring is interposed between the support members and the locking pins.
