PURPOSE: A minus payment system and method using portable phone using charge is provided to pay portable phone using charge as a contents using compensation charge so as to reduce portable phone using charge. CONSTITUTION: A minus payment system comprises a payment gateway(100), a contents providing server(200), a mobile communication company server(300), and a user computer(400). The payment gateway(100) authenticates a user through the mobile communication company server(300) by receiving the user data including the portable phone number. After the user is authenticated, the payment gateway(100) requires minus payment to the mobile communication company server(300). The contents using compensation cost is balanced at the portable phone using charge.
