<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processor, etc. for generating video data printable by a printing engine from received printing data and for outputting the video data to the printing engine and capable of performing high resolution printing to suit capability of the printing engine with high quality even when throughput of video data generation is lower than throughput of the printing engine. <P>SOLUTION: The image processor 3 which generates image data in which an image is expressed by a pulse by every pixel from the received printing data 5, converts the image data into the video data 7 and outputs the video data to the printing engine 4 lowers resolution of the image data based on width data indicating width of the pulse which the image data 6a have and position data indicating a position of the pulse in the pixel and converts the image data 6b the resolution of which is lowered into the video data 7. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
