MISMATCH DETECTOR MOLECULE AND MISMATCH DETECTION METHOD, AND USE OF THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compound at least effectively detecting mismatch of cytosine-cytosine, and a method for detecting mismatch using the same, and a kit to be used for the method and to provide a method detecting abnormality of a base sequence. SOLUTION: A compound expressed by general formula (I) at least forms a pseudo base pair in cytosine-cytosine mismatch. In the formula R1and R2are each H or 1-5C organic group, and at least one carbon atom in the R1may be substituted by N and/or O atom, and R3is a 2-20C organic group and at least one carbon atom thereof may be substituted by N, S and/or O atom. Detection of mismatch or existence of mismatch in a base sequence is carried out by detecting formation of the pseudo base pair. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
