PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air-conditioning system for enhancing the efficiency of the heating operation by a heating means by providing a ventilation means to perform the indoor ventilation according to a plan, and the heating means. SOLUTION: The air-conditioning system comprises a gas fan heater 3 arranged indoors, a ventilation fan 7 to perform the planned ventilation operation to ventilate indoors according to the plan so as to ensure the predetermined ventilation amount, and a controller 1 which is communicable with the gas fan heater 3 and the ventilation fan 7 and controls the operation of the gas fan heater 3 and the ventilation fan 7. The controller 1 interrupts the planned ventilation operation before the detected temperature of a room temperature sensor 11 reaches the target raised temperature for the ventilation means 7 when the heating start signal is received from the gas fan heater 3, and transmits the ventilation limit signal to instruct the execution of the ventilation limitation to reduce the ventilation amount than that in the planned ventilation operation or stop the ventilation.
