PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make writing accurate and also shorten a period of time required from the start of writing through the end of verification in a magnetic data embedding device in which a master disc 2 and a plurality of discs 1 are stacked on an axis of a spindle motor SPM and the contents of the master are written for each of magnetic discs. SOLUTION: A plurality of rotary positioners 11A, 11B, in which servo heads 3 for writing each of surfaces of the magnetic discs and a read only head 5 for reading a master disc are stacked as a unit to turn, are arranged. Writing is performed in parallel to a surface of each of the magnetic discs by each of the plurality of servo heads for track ranges shared among them. During this writing, verification-only heads 15 and 13, stacked on a verification-only rotary positioner 12, compares and verifies the content read from the master and each of the surfaces of the magnetic discs, respectively, via a comparison logic circuit 23. When inconsistency occurs, the content of the master is overwritten to the surface of the magnetic disc by the verification-only head 13 via a correction servo pattern generator 27.
