PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plug easily extractable from a jack after being inserted into the jack; and to provide an adapter for the plug and a plug-jack structure. SOLUTION: This plug 11 is pluggable into a jack 21 of a connection object and extractable from the jack 21, and is provided with: a cylindrical part 13 fitted to an outer cylinder part 23 of the jack when plugged into the jack; and separating members 14, 14 formed on its outside surface for separating the cylindrical part 23 from the cylinder part 23 by being plunged from the outside surface side. The fitting state between the cylindrical part 13 and the cylinder part 23 can easily be released by plunging the separating members from the outside surface side, and the plug can easily be extracted from the jack.
