The illumination assembly unit (1) is easy to mount and fits into the roof of the railroad car. The illumination of the LEDs (2) will neither fade during a train stop in the train station nor in the case of voltage drops due to contact interruptions to the power supplying tracks. This is achieved with the help of a capacitor (6). The brightness level of the illumination is adjustable by the user.
