PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slat conveyor 11 capable of giving sufficient tension to a chain 19, and reducing noises and vibrations due to pulsation at the time of starting. SOLUTION: A catenary part 61 is installed to a return side 58 of a rotor 21 returned from a terminal end side sprocket 18 to a starting end side sprocket. In the catenary part 61, a pressurizing element 66 is brought into contact with a roller slat 20 of the rotor 21 by energization of a spring 73, and pressurized, and the rotor 21 is curved, so as to give tension to the chain 19 and absorb elongation of the chain 19. Sufficient tension is given to the chain 19, so as to reduce pulsation at the time of starting, and reduce noises and vibrations due to pulsation. The pressurizing element 66 is brought into contact with the roller slat 20 and pressurized, so as to stably give tension to the chain 19. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
