PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device in which image quality with higher definition is secured by having a lens maintaining structure that tends to be less affected by environmental fluctuation around an optical housing and that can bring a high-definition image. SOLUTION: In the scanning type image forming device for scanning a photoreceptor by deflecting a luminous flux from a light source with an optical deflector and by converging light as a light spot on an optically conductive photoreceptor with a scanning lens 106 to be installed in the optical housing 101; the scanning lens 106 is fixed by securing a 0.2 mm or more thickness of an adhesive layer on a lens sticking base 103.
