PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a silencer of a jet engine capable of reducing exhaust gas noise generated from the turbo jet engine by using an engine exhaust pipe and a mixer ejector provided at the rear side of the engine exhaust pipe and decreasing radiant quantity of the noise emitted to the outside through an ejector intake even when the jet engine is fixed to a wing of a jet airplane. SOLUTION: The silencer 3 of the jet engine can reduce the exhaust gas noise generated from the turbo jet engine 1 by using the engine exhaust pipe 9 and the mixer ejector 13. The exterior wall of the engine exhaust pipe 9 is at least partially covered with sound absorbing material 15 to prevent the noise emitted to the outside through the ejector intake EJ1 from being reflected and radiated by the wing or the body of the jet airplane which the jet engine 1 is fixed to.
