<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell separator which can realize small sizing/stability of the device by improving airtightness and by preventing clogging of the passage due to generated water of a stack cell type fuel cell by a simple structure, and a fuel cell using the same. <P>SOLUTION: A supply hole and an exhaust hole of a fuel gas are formed at the separator main body and a fuel gas passage is connected through the supply hole and an inlet port, and an airtightness member support part which prevents deformation of the airtightness member clipped between the separators at the lamination of the separators and secures the passage cross section of the inlet port is formed. Since the deformation of the airtightness member which is clipped between the separators is prevented by the airtightness member support part, the adhesion of the airtightness member and the separators is improved and possibilities of leakage of the fuel gas from the airtightness member deformed at the inlet port can be reduced. And by using a water repellent material at the airtightness support part, the clogging of the water at the inlet port and a discharge port can be prevented. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
