<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an original plate for direct offset printing which has a photosensitive layer, a laser beam irradiation part of which shows a hydrophilic to lipophilic change; can be handled in a bright room and enhances sensitivity/resolution without requiring development and wiping-off procedures and reveals the improvement of printing characteristics. <P>SOLUTION: The original plate for direct offset printing has a hydrophilic resin photosensitive layer formed of a photosensitive resin composition obtained by mixing a hydrophilic polymer, an emulsion-like polymer with an acid group neutralized by an amine compound, a light absorbing agent having an absorption within the wavelength range of 700-1,200 nm; a crosslinking agent and an hydrophilic additive, laminated on a substrate directly or through another layer. In addition, the direct offset printing plate has a non-image part formed without development and wiping-off procedures after irradiating the hydrophilic resin photosensitive layer of the original plate for direct offset printing with a laser beam within the wavelength of 700-1,200 nm. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
