PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To project one projection image on a projection plane of free form after 3D conversion of a specified arbitrary area of the image, and project a more natural image. SOLUTION: About an image in a 3D conversion area specified by 3D conversion area specifying means 15 in a projection image input from image inputting means 11, a 3D-converted image generation part 12c refers to form data on a projection plane from projection plane acquiring means 14 and 3D conversion parameters from 3D conversion parameter specifying means 16 to generate a pseudo 3D-converted image, which is synthesized with the image in a non-3D-conversion area in the projection image excluded from 3D conversion before projected on the projection plane of a screen 23 via image outputting means 13. A shaping processing part 12e further subjects to partial correction an image in an area specified as a shaping area by shaping area specifying means 17 in a peripheral area including the joint between the 3D conversion area and the non-3D-conversion area.
