PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an epoxy resin composition having a high glass transition temperature, a low dielectric dissipation factor and excellent flame retardance. SOLUTION: The epoxy resin composition consists essentially of a polyester (A) having an aryloxycarbonyl group at the molecular chain terminal and composed of an aromatic polyvalent carboxylic acid residue and an aromatic polyhydric hydroxy compound residue, an epoxy resin (B), a curing accelerator (C), a flame retardant (D) and an organic solvent (E).
