PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ball screw device capable of corresponding to high-speed operation of the ball screw device, by increasing the strength of a thin-wall portion of a circulation top without changing the dimension in an axial direction of the circulation top. SOLUTION: This ball screw device 10 comprises: a screw shaft 12 whose outer circumferential face has a screw groove 11; a nut 14 whose inner circumferential face has a screw groove 13 corresponding to the screw groove 11, which has a return passage 16 passing through the nut in an axial direction, whose both end faces have cutouts 17, and which is screwed with the screw shaft 12; the circulation top 18 having a circulation groove 20 for forming a circulation passage 21 which communicates the return passage 16 with a portion between the screw grooves 11, 13 together with the cutout 17, and is fit and fixed into the cutout 17; and a plurality of balls 15 arranged to be capable of of circulating while rolling in the circulation passage 21 and the return passage 16. A space 30 is formed inside a relatively thin wall portion that is formed outside an axial direction of a circulation groove 20 of the circulation top 18.
