<p>A dental treatment composition comprises a particulate erasing agent having particles which are dimensions to roll along a surface. The composition has at least 3% water and the particulate erasing agent comprises a precipitate or agglomerate of an insoluble alkali metal carbonate. The composition may be a toothpaste, a toothgel, a polishing paste or an additive powder. A method of treating teeth to remove dirt, debris, stains or the like which employs a composition according to the invention is also described.</p> |
