<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a purification system or a purification method where the installation area of equipment is reduced, and the water quality standards of service water are allowed to be satisfied without using flocculants, or the like. <P>SOLUTION: The purification system for obtaining service water, or the like, by purifying raw water comprises: a tank where precipitation components in raw water are precipitated away; a biological treatment tank where soluble organic components are thereafter subjected to biological oxidation treatment, and are removed; and a membrane filtering apparatus where remaining bacteria are removed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
