<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a luminance-improved film whose obliquely viewed coloration is suppressed in addition to improvement of an optical characteristic as compared with a conventional level. <P>SOLUTION: In a method of stretching a polymer film with proper forces in an X direction in a polymer film surface and a Z direction as a thickness direction and so on, a phase difference layer 2 whose three-dimensional refractive index in the film surface is so adjusted that nz>nx>ny is formed, and an homeotropic alignment film 3 is further laminated on the phase difference layer 2 to obtain an optical film whose Nz coefficient is easy to control. A cholesteric liquid crystal film 4 is stuck on the optical film to obtain a luminance-improved film. Further, a laminated polarized film is formed by sticking it on a polarizing plate 1 and then suitably used for an image display device. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
