DRUM TYPE WASHING MACHINE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drum type washing machine in which a rotation position of the drum is fixed by simple structure. SOLUTION: This drum type washing machine is equipped with an engaging groove 25 on the outer periphery part of a rotor 20b of an outer rotor type motor directly connected to the main shaft 14 of the drum 13 and a drum lock device 21 just under the shaft. The drum lock device 21 has structure in which a lock pin 212 is vertically moved together with rotation of a torque motor 211. A position of the drum 13 is fixed by advancing the lock pin 212 to fit into a groove hole of the engaging groove 25. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
