PURPOSE: A method of making a rosehip jam product by mixing the rosehip flesh with seaweeds such as laver, kelp or the like is provided. The jam is rich in nutrients such as Ca, vitamins from rosehips and I, K, Ca, vitamins or the like from seaweeds and beneficial to the human body. CONSTITUTION: A predetermined amount of rosehip powder is mixed with drinking water, heated while agitating and then filtered. Seaweeds are cut to about 2 to 3cm, soaked in water and agitated with drinking water and 0.3 to 0.5% by weight of an expending agent such as sodium carbonate, followed by filtering. Thereafter, the rosehip liquid is mixed with seaweed liquid and sugars and then heated while agitating. |
