COOLING STRUCTURE FOR MOTOR WITH AIR GUIDE PORTION FORMED AROUND VENTILATING HOLES

PURPOSE: A cooling structure is provided to achieve improved cooling efficiency by forming an air guide portion around ventilating holes such that large amount of air easily flows into a motor. CONSTITUTION: A cooling structure comprises a driving motor(10) having a motor case(11) with ventilating holes(12) formed at a front surface(11a) of the motor case; and a fan(20) arranged on a motor shaft(13) extended from the direction where ventilating holes are formed such that the fan is rotatable. The fan cools the driving motor by permitting the air generated from a fan rib(22) formed in a fan hub(21) to flow into the driving motor through the ventilating holes of the driving motor. An air guide portion(14) is protruded from the peripheries of ventilating holes such that large amount of air smoothly flows through the ventilating holes formed at the front surface of the motor case.
