摘要

PURPOSE: A vector for expression of ferritin heteropolymer within yeast and a recombinant yeast transformed with the expression vector are provided, thereby expressing ferritin heteropolymer to accumulate a large quantity of iron ion within a cell. CONSTITUTION: The vector for expression of ferritin heteropolymer within yeast comprises H subunit gene and L subunit gene of ferritin which are operably linked with single or multiple promoters selected from GAL1, GAL10 and GAL10/GAL1. The vector for expression of ferritin heteropolymer within yeast comprises L subunit gene of ferritin, GAL10/GAL1 promoter and H subunit gene of ferritin in a direction of 5' to 3', sequentially. The vector for expression of ferritin heteropolymer within yeast comprises H subunit gene of ferritin, GAL10/GAL1 promoter and L subunit gene of ferritin in a direction of 5' to 3', sequentially. The recombinant yeasts Y1H10L and Y1L10H(KACC 93005) are produced by transformation with the vectors.
