PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a nonwoven fabric for food having favorable color tone (b value) and uniform in quality, i.e. slight in quality variation. SOLUTION: The nonwoven fabric for food is obtained by using thermoadhesive conjugate staple fibers which are produced by using at least a polyester composition, wherein the polyester composition is obtained using a relevant catalyst comprising specific titanium compound and phosphorus compound.
