PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an assembly equipped with a blanket unit and a cylinder having a blanket unit fixing device, and a corresponding cylinder, a blanket unit and an offset printing machine.

SOLUTION: In the assembly for an offset printing machine, the blanket unit 3 is equipped with a blanket 64 and a blanket support plate 62. The assembly is equipped with a blanket unit 3 whose front edge 66 and rear edge 72 of the blanket support plate 62 being bent over and extending beyond the front edge 68 and the rear edge 74 of the blanket, and a cylinder 2 having an aperture 14 for receiving the front edge and the rear edge of the blanket support plate, the cylinder comprising the device 28 for fixing the blanket unit 3 to the cylinder, the fixing device comprising at least one hook 30 for tensioning the blanket unit.
