USE OF TRIAZOLOPYRIMIDINES FOR COMBATING NEMATODE DISEASES OF PLANTS

A method of use of triazolopyrimidines of formula (I) in which R<1 >denote halogen, hydroxy, alkyl, alkenyl, alkynyl, haloalkyl, haloalkenyl, cycloalkyl, phenyl, naphthyl, a 5- or 6-membered saturated, unsaturated, or aromatic heterocycle, containing one to four nitrogen atoms or one to three nitrogen atoms and one sulfur or oxygen atom, or NR<A>R<B>, OR<A>, or SR<A>, wherein R<A> and R<B> independently denote hydrogen, alkyl, alkenyl, alkynyl, haloalkyl, halo-alkenyl, cycloalkyl, phenyl, naphthyl, a 5- or 6-membered saturated, unsaturated, or aromatic heterocycle, containing one to four nitrogen atoms or one to three nitrogen atoms and one sulfur or oxygen atom, or R<A> and R<B> together with the interjacent nitrogen atom represent a 5- or 6-membered saturated or unsaturated heterocycle, containing one to four nitrogen atoms or one to three nitrogen atoms and one sulfur or oxygen atom, which ring may be substituted as defined in the description; R<2> denote alkyl, alkenyl, alkynyl, haloalkyl, haloalkenyl, cycloalkyl, phenyl, naphthyl, a 5- or 6-membered saturated, unsaturated, or aromatic heterocycle, containingone to four nitrogen atoms or one to three nitrogen atoms and one sulfur or oxygen atom;R<3> denote halogen, hydroxy, cyano, alkyl, alkenyl, alkynyl, alkoxy, alkylthio, NR<A>R<B>, R<4> hydrogen, cyano, hydroxy, mercapto, alkoxy, alkylthio, haloalkoxy, NR<A>R<B>, S(=O)nG, wherein G is as defined in the description; wherein R<1>, R<2>, R<3>, R<A>and R<B> radicals may be unsubstituted or substituted as defined in the description; for combating nematode diseases of plants, a method for the protection of growing plants from attack or infestation by nematode pests which comprises applying to the foliage of the plants, or to the soil or water in which they are growing, an effective amount of compounds of formula (I).
