PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress uneven illumination to restrain a production cost from increasing. SOLUTION: This meter pointer structure has a pointer body 11 of which the upper face part is illuminated by introducing illumination light from a light source 7 provided in a reverse face side of a dial 5 into the pointer body 11 provided in a surface side 5a of the dial 5 of a meter unit 10 via a shaft hole 5c formed in the dial 5. A base shaft part 20a is inserted into an under face 11a of the pointer body 11 via the shaft hole 5c, a light transmitting base shaft member 20 provided with an abutting face 20c abutting to the under face of the pointer body 11 is constituted separately from the pointer body 11, and a printing layer 20d for diffusing the light is formed therein between the abutting face 20c and the under face 11a of the pointer body 11.
