PURPOSE: A plasma display panel is provided to allow for ease of checking of open failure and achieve improved luminance by enhancing the structure of a trapezoidal electrode. CONSTITUTION: A plasma display panel comprises a front electrode constituted by an X-electrode(420) and a Y-electrode(440) in a unit discharge cell region(400). The X-electrode includes a first member(422X) formed in the direction vertical to the direction of extension of first and second barrier ribs(407a,407b), wherein the first member has an end extended over a second discharge cell region and the other end formed at a point in a first discharge cell region spaced apart from a third barrier rib(407c); a second member(424X) formed in the direction parallel to the first member, wherein the second member has an end extended over a third discharge cell region and the other end formed at a point in the first discharge cell region spaced apart from the first barrier rib; and a third member formed in the direction parallel to the direction of extension of first and second barrier ribs in the first discharge cell region, wherein the third member interconnects the first and second members. |
