<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small-sized optical signal system having excellent isolation while having a sufficient optical intensity extinction ratio. <P>SOLUTION: The optical signal system has an inputting and outputting part for a first light beam, has a first waveguide transmitting an inputted first light beam and an inputting part inputting a modulated second light beam and is provided with a second waveguide transmitting the inputted second light beam, a gain part for amplifying the first light beam transmitted through the first waveguide and a photoinduction mechanism for inducing the second light beam transmitted through the second waveguide to the first waveguide.
