PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a liquid ejector capable of performing high speed liquid ejection with high precision in which lowering in the precision of liquid ejection due to inclination or vibration of a carriage is reduced. SOLUTION: A bearing member 211 is inserted with a carriage guide shaft 61 and has an arcuate inner circumferential surface extending over 180°along the outer circumferential surface of the carriage guide shaft 61. On the inner circumferential surface, two contact planes 131 and 132 facing each other at a specified angle and bearing the carriage guide shaft 61 by sliding on the outer circumferential surface thereof are formed. At the both ends of the inner circumferential surface in the circumferential direction, protrusions 133 and 134 are formed. The carriage guide shaft 61 is inserted while extending the arcuate inner circumferential surface of the bearing member 211 slightly and the recovering force of the extended inner circumferential surface urges the protrusions 133 and 134 to press the contact planes 131 and 132 against the outer circumferential surface of the carriage guide shaft 61.
