PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively prevent deficiency of information in a telop editing. SOLUTION: In a telop editing system for reproducing or recording image data, audio data and telop data while synchronizing them, the system includes a GUI part 11 provided fir an operator to perform an editing operation, a storage part 12 for storing a multiplexed file in which the image data, the audio data and the telop data are multiplexed, a demultiplexing part 13 for demultiplexing the multiplexed file, a data editing control part 14 for controlling the editing processing of the demultiplexed image data, audio data and telop data, a data acquisition part 15 and data working part 16 which are included in the data editing control part 14, a telop attribute resetting part 17 for resetting display attribute information that a telop has after setting of an editing start time and an editing end time by the operator, a resetting processing judging part 18 included in the telop attribute resetting part 17, a display rightfulness judging part 19, an attribute selecting part 20, and an attribute change table 21 that the attribute selecting part 20 refers to and which is associated with the attribute setting part 20.
