PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reversible thermosensitive recording label where high-contrast and high-sensitivity recording images can be formed or erased many times, and which are easily applied to an IC card etc., and can easily be peeled in a short period of time in quantities without leaving any adhesive component on the card side when becoming unnecessary. SOLUTION: The reversible thermosensitive recording label has a reversible thermosensitive recording layer, containing a normally colorless or light color dye precursor and a reversible color developer causing the dye precursor to have reversible hue variation by heating, on a base and is stuck on an article; and a water-soluble adhesive layer is formed of a water-soluble adhesive at a part to be stuck on the article.
