摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a frame memory of a noise reduction circuit. SOLUTION: A liquid crystal display device in which the response time of liquid crystal is improved by a gradation correction means for outputting a third piece of gradation data equivalent to a voltage value which is actually impressed to liquid crystal based on a first piece of gradation data indicating gradation of an inputted video signal and a second piece of gradation data indicating gradation of a signal formed by delaying the inputted video signal for one frame period is constituted so as to output gradation data different from appropriate gradation data as the third piece of gradation data according to the first piece of gradation data and difference between frames of the second and first pieces of gradation data when gradation capable of improving response time from brightness equivalent to the second piece of gradation data to brightness equivalent to the first piece of gradation data within one frame is defined as the appropriate gradation data.
