PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact waveguide array antenna, allowing an antenna radiation pattern to be controlled. SOLUTION: The waveguide array antenna comprises one or more sets of antennas existing in the lengthwise direction of a waveguide, each composed of a pair of slots tilted in opposite directions at a given angle of two parallel sides to the length of the waveguide, a pair of slots at symmetric positions to a cross line perpendicular to the two sides separated by predetermined distances from the forming position of that pair of slots, and slots cut into the narrow sides adjacent to the broad side in perpendicular directions to the two parallel sides.
