<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrode having a large specific surface area, high heat resistance, and many three-phase interfaces, which is also capable of suppressing reaction on the interface with a solid electrolyte body while having excellent performance. <P>SOLUTION: This electrode comprising a perovskite oxide expressed by a general formula (A<SB>1-x</SB>B<SB>x</SB>)<SB>y</SB>MnO<SB>3+δ</SB>is formed by an electron beam vapor deposition method (Where, A is a rare earth element, B is an alkaline earth metal element, 0≤x≤1.1, 0.9≤y≤1.1). In the manufacturing method of this electrode of the perovskite oxide, the perovskite oxide expressed by the general formula (A<SB>1-x</SB>B<SB>x</SB>)<SB>y</SB>MnO<SB>3+δ</SB>is deposited on the surface of the solid electrolyte body by the electron beam vapor deposition method to grow columnar crystals of the perovskite oxide on the surface, and they are raised. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
