<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the number of components of a variable displacement compressor and working man-hours. <P>SOLUTION: A driving shaft composed of a shaft 16 and a rotor 41 is rotatably supported in a housing 10. A swash plate 23 is slidably and tiltably supported on the driving shaft. A single head piston 25 is operatively connected to the swash plate 23, and the rotation of the driving shaft is converted to the reciprocating motion of the piston 25 through the swash plate 23. As the swash plate 23 is slid on the driving shaft while being tilted, displacement is changed. A step part 64 with a smaller diameter in a side of the swash plate 23 is integrally formed on a position between the swash plate 23 and a cylinder block 11 on the driving shaft. A wall face 64a of the step part 64 is used as a spring seat. A return spring 65 energizing the swash plate 23 in an inclining angle incremental direction is interposed between the spring seat and the swash plate 23. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
