PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simplified apparatus for supplying materials to be processed, so that when materials which generate harmful dust, gas, tar and the like are subjected to a heat treatment using continuous heat treatment equipment, it is possible to inhibit a leakage and a backflow of harmful substance without bringing about a problem such as bite lump. SOLUTION: The invention relates to an apparatus for supplying materials to be processed, which apparatus is an attachment of a continuous type heat treatment equipment which may be horizontal or inclined type, taking in materials to be processed through one end thereof and discharging heat-treated materials through the other. The apparatus is characterized in that the lowest point in the vertical direction of upper part of a passage for materials to be processed within the supplying apparatus, stays lower than the lowest point in the vertical direction of furnace body of the continuous type heat treatment equipment.
