<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately communicate with a question equipment even if a wireless tag touches other wireless tag or metal. <P>SOLUTION: The wireless tag is composed by embedding a tag body, where IC tip 11 and an antenna 12 are disposed, in the center of a guard member 13 consisting of a cylindrical derivative whose diameter is comparatively large. For example, the diameter of the guard member is set to about 2-4mm when 2.4GHz band is used for communication with the question equipment and the communication distance between the antenna of the question equipment side and the wireless tag is few centimeters.
