PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a color image communication apparatus unnecessary to execute color adjustment every time the apparatus forms a color image. SOLUTION: When a plotter section 16 forms a color image on the basis of received color image information, the plotter section 16 sets a color adjustment amount to adjust the coloring adapted to color image information on the basis of which the image is formed with respect to a reference state being a state of capable of outputting general color image information in the best coloring as color setting information. As the color setting information, the coloring is increased/decreased by +5% (b) for C component, -6% (c) for M component, -2% (d) for Y component, and±0% (e) for K component in the reference state with respect to e.g., a received image No.1 (a). A storage section stores the color setting information for every color image information and the apparatus adjusts the color with respect to a request for image forming by reading the color setting information.
