PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lens hood which is good in operability of clamping in attachment and detachment and can tightly be held on a front lens barrel. SOLUTION: As for a taking lens characterized in that the hood for removing entry of a harmful light beam is mounted on the front lens barrel, a recessed part is provided to a hood external edge part nearby at least a fixing operation member.
