<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable all payment with an IC card to use a password, prevent unauthorized use due to loss and theft of the IC card and eliminate necessity of a user to remember and manually input the password. <P>SOLUTION: Safety of electronic payment with the IC card for payment is enhanced by limiting function of the IC card to be password only as the IC card exclusively for password and executing automatic authentication of a password which is preset for both the IC card for payment and the IC card exclusively for password in using the IC card for payment. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
