<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a braking device in which a vacuum pump is fixed to a brake master cylinder for a vacuum source, the height of an assembly with the vacuum pump connected to a vacuum chamber of a booster via an intake pipe is reduced, and an assembly process is easy and simple. <P>SOLUTION: In the braking device for an automobile comprising a master cylinder 10 connected to a pneumatic booster 12, and a vacuum pump 36 to produce a vacuum state in a vacuum chamber 16 of the booster, the vacuum pump 36 is fixed to an envelope 14 of the booster, more specifically, in the vacuum chamber 16 on the inner side of the envelope 14. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
