<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a touch panel which has a transparent insulating film prevented from peeling when handled or stored in a rack and the frequency of a mechanical stop is reduced when stored in the rack mechanically. <P>SOLUTION: A transparent insulating film (11) of an upper electrode member (1) in a touch panel (8) constituted of films/glass has an upward inclined end face (11a) in the whole circumferential side.
