MULTI-EDGE CUTTER USED WITH STRAPPING TOOL BY ADOPTING MOVABLE DIE HOLDER HAVING SLOT FOR DEFINING TAP WITH CUTTING SURFACE AND MAKING EXCHANGE OF CUTTING EDGE EASY

PURPOSE: A multi-edge cutter is provided to use a cutter with a strapping tool by adopting a movable die holder having a slot for defining a tap with a cutting surface, a retaining surface and a support surface for a cutting body. CONSTITUTION: A multi-edge cutter comprises a die holder(30) and a cutter(12). The cutter has a body part(13) with a polygonal section for defining cutting surfaces(14a,14b,16a,16b) facing at first and second sides. The cutting surfaces define a cutting edges(18). The body part defines notches(26,28). The notches are placed while the cutting edges face symmetrically. The movable die holder is supported on a strapping tool. The die holder has a support face(32) and protruded portions(36,38). The lower portion of the cutter is placed on the support face. The cutter is turned over on the die holder, and a surplus cutting edge is exchanged with the cutting edge in use.
