PATH SERVICE SETTING METHOD, PATH SERVICE SETTING APPARATUS, AND PATH SERVICE SETTING PROGRAM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology of quickly providing a path service in a network system of a layer configuration.

SOLUTION: A path service setting method includes the steps of: acquiring network configuration information by selecting an uppermost layer described in layer configuration information designated by a path service setting request for the processing object; searching a path sufficing the path service setting request on the basis of the above acquired information; repeating path searching by selecting a layer one lower than the selected layer for a new processing object when the path cannot be searched; setting the path of the searching result to the layer having the path of the searching result; selecting a layer one upper than the selected layer for the processing object, setting the same path as the path of the searching result to the layer of the processing object; selecting a layer upper by one for a new processing object; and repeating the path setting until the uppermost layer becomes the processing object when the setting is finished. Thus, the technology quickly can provide the path service and relieve a load imposed on an operator by the path setting.
