摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively compress the instruction code of an AMR processor, and to save the memory of a portable device or the like, and to attain the cost-down of equipment. SOLUTION: When instruction data 1 for execution are applied, whether or not it is possible to make common condition designation(bitpattern: 1110, suffix: AL) of "regular execution" in an ARM 32bit instruction word set is judged by a compression condition judging part 2, and when it is possible to make common the condition code part, the condition code part of "regular execution" is compressed by a condition code compressing part 3. Thus, it is possible to shorten the word length of 2 instruction 64 bits into 56 bits according to the "condition code compression". When the compressed instruction code 11 is decompressed, the compression condition is judged by a compression condition judging part 12, and the compressed program code is developed while the condition designating part of the "regular execution" is added by each instruction unit of the compressed program code by the condition code developing part 13 so that instruction data 14 for execution can be obtained.
