PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ventilator capable of easily and economically enhancing a waterproofing function required for the ventilator provided at a ridge part of a roof, without complicating internal structure. SOLUTION: A lower member 12 is provided on the upper side of a roof opening 7 provided in the ridge part of the roof 4, and an upper member 13 is provided on the upper side of the lower member 12. A covering member 14 is provided on the upper side of the upper member 13, and the covering member 14 and the upper member 13 are provided with upper walls 22, 27 and sidewalls 23, 28 extending to the lower side from both beam direction edges of the upper walls 22, 27. A space between the covering member 14 and the upper member 13 is formed as a ventilation flue 37 for circulating air from one end side to the other end side in the beam direction, and a space between the lower end of the sidewall 28 of the covering member 14 and the roof 4 is formed as an inlet-outlet 30 of the ventilation flue 37. A space between the lower member 12 and the upper member 13 is formed as an exhaust passage 35 for exhausting air from the roof opening 7, and a communicating port 25 for communicating the exhaust passage 35 with the ventilation flue 37 is provided in the upper wall 22 of the upper member 13.
