PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plant cultivation unit capable of easily keeping a working passageway widely and capable of increasing the planting density. SOLUTION: In this plant cultivation unit, a holding member 30 is supported on a rotary shaft 20 through a driving strap member 50 and pulleys 40, 41. Cultivation means 60, 61 are hung from areas around ends of the holding member 30 and supported thereon, respectively. The holding member 30 is inclined by rotating the rotary shaft 20 with an operation means, so that the cultivation means 60, 61 are positioned in heights vertically different from each other. Thus, the working passageway is kept on each side of the cultivation means 60, 61 by a simple procedure. Further, the rotary shaft 20 is locked by the operation means, after the shaft is rotated in a specified rotational amount. Therefore, a plurality of the cultivating means 60, 61 are easily kept in such a state as to be positioned in heights different from each other, so that they can easily be set in states convenient for working.
