PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile receiver capable of suppressing deterioration of the noise figure of the receiver to the utmost when no interference exists and eliminating the effect of an interference wave by placing a limit on an optional band on the basis of channel quality data. SOLUTION: The mobile receiver is provided with: a filter means comprising filters 4 to 7 for passing the SHF wave signal received from an antenna without attenuation or passing the SHF wave signal after attenuating a prescribed frequency band; a low noise amplifier 8 for amplifying the outputs of the filter means; a band-pass filter 11 or 12 for limiting a prescribed frequency band of the output of the amplifier 8; a demodulator 15 for demodulating the output passing the band limit filter 11 or 12 and passing a down-converter 14; a channel quality data detector 16 for detecting the channel quality data from the output of the demodulator 15; and a first switching controller 17 for selecting the filter means on the basis of the channel quality data detected by the channel quality data detector 16.
