DRUM TYPE EXPOSURE APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drum type exposure apparatus on which the scanning direction of a light beam is made parallel to the edge direction of an original plate and an original plate can be efficiently used. SOLUTION: A sheet type original plate with a photosensitive material deposited thereon is wound around a drum with the plate inclined at a specified angle from the rotation direction of the drum is fixed by a chuck mounted as inclined at a specified angle from the direction along the rotation shaft or by a plurality of chucks arranged in the positions inclined at a specified angle from the direction along the rotation shaft. By decreasing the nipping region necessary for the chucks nipping the original plate, the region which can be exposed in the original plate is increased and the original plate can be efficiently used.
